Talofa Street by Finnis Architects
Client Brief
The client requested a new three bedroom home with a focus on liveability and entertaining. With a strong focus on external living, our client requested a natural flow from the inside to the outside, leading to external sun filled entertaining spaces bordered by a 12 meter (40 foot) lap pool.
Challenges
The restricted site dimensions determined the allowable footprint for the dwelling construction over three levels.
Response
The large floor to ceiling windows open up to completely enhance the dwelling blurring the connection of both internal and external spaces. The home creates entertaining spaces with multiple uses for the family to enjoy. The first floor component being is completely reserved for living purposes creates a safe sanctuary for the children to be entertained. The design creates a modern yet timeless design that will provide for the family for many years.
