Emerald Elegance by Miso Architects

The name of this project says a lot about it, but not everything. It was a long-term “construction site”, almost 2 years, but it was worth all our effort and patience.

The concept started from the beneficiaries’ favorite colors – emerald green and turquoise – which we can find in most rooms in different forms, textiles, finishes, furniture pieces, ceramic tiles. The entire home is a show of contrasts, surprising combinations of materials, colors, lights.

From the moment you enter, you can notice that this home is not ordinary, but rather original, different from what you would think you would find in the home of a family with 2 children. Many mirrors, a green wall, warm colors and reflections, which invite you into an elegant and welcoming atmosphere. Moving on to the living room reveals a large space, defined by some imposing accents – the tiling of the ceiling in the dining room with the backlit panel, the moldings that go up to the ceiling and outline the living area, the sofa in a warm shade of turquoise and all balanced by the wall Glam White Nature ceramic clad TV and light oak parquet flooring. The kitchen also surprises with the combination of textures and colors in the same elegant note.

The staircase is the central piece, with a light scenario that brings it out of anonymity. Upstairs, the children’s rooms are full of color, from the playful wallpaper, to the velvet curtains and the marble lighting fixtures. The master bedroom surprises with its dark color palette, but keeping the turquoise and gold accents that we also find in the rest of the arrangement. The dressing room is a teasing for what follows – the pièce de résistance on the first floor – the matrimonial bathroom. All the sanitary ware and finishes chosen here have led to a scenographic result, a mysterious space of particular elegance.

A spectacular home that resulted from two years of continuous efforts, a close collaboration with the beneficiaries, with commensurate satisfaction.
