Home in the Banks of a Lake by Architectural Bureau A2
The house is located on the banks of the picturesque lake, near St. Petersburg, Russia.
All rooms overlooking the water have panoramic windows from floor to ceiling.
Glazing performed using Reynaries Concept System® 104 (Belgium), innovative window glazing. This system increases comfort and minimizes energy consumption, which is ideal for energy-passive house requirements.
Kitchen and dining area located on the first floor of the building are also oriented to the lake.
Front access to the outdoor terrace is carried out using a sliding system HI-FINITY (Reynaries, Belgium). This system is a thin, barely visible profile creates the impression of a wall made of transparent glass, which adds to the premises of the border.
Sliding doors look elegant, light, air and create a sense of transparency. It seems that the interior and exterior space are merged into one, creating a limitless view. Sliding system provided with three guide in combination of the six valves.
As an exterior finish used: Ceramic panels Argeton Terzo 3 Iron Gray (Germany), Panels ArchSkin PANARIA Lightquartz BIANCO (Italy) on an aluminum frame.
Paving area – terracotta RÖBEN (Germany): SCHWABING grau-nuanciert, SCHWABING cremeweiß, SCHWABING schwarz-buntgeflammt.
Also it developed landscape design project according to which quality improvement was carried out. The site is covered with turf, gravel tracks were laid. winding artificial stream was created with a few rapids, which stretches across the entire site.
The water in the creek is fed from the lake through the two secretly installed Naos. Along all the tracks are installed decorative lamps, due to which in the area can feel comfortable, even in the dark.
The building is equipped with all necessary engineering systems, including a system of forced ventilation and sun protection mechanisms.
