Valley House by David Guerra

Located in Nova Lima – MG, on a site of approximately 1300m² (13,993ft²) in the Crystal Valley condominium, stands a house which looks out over the valley. The idea was to build a house that had all their social and intimate area on the same floor, and the leisure facilities, a laundry area and a garage on the stilts, one floor below. The stilts release the box volume that turns to the landscape with a definitive sight, since the adjacent land is a conservation área.

On the entrance level are the hall, a half bath, the living room, dining area and home theater, forming a large open rectangular space that, beyond sight throughout its length, has a low-slope roof with steel structure and wooden lining, loose throughout its length by glass windows. It’s like a box whose lid opens beyond the landscape could have the sky around it. Next to the rooms, a comfortable eat-in kitchen with pantry, integrates with the other spaces. Opposite the kitchen, a balcony of contemplation runs the length of the room.

Next to the home theater is the family area, with closet for linens, 3 great suites and a Master suite facing two views, with a walk-in closet and a comfortable bathroom. Downstairs, a garage for 8 cars integrates the recreation area and living which is also integrated into the gourmet kitchen, leisure area, sauna, pool and game room, plus a good wine cellar. On the same floor, are the maid’s área and a large storage.
