Seattle based firm Stephenson Design Collective has designed the Madrona House project.
This spacious modern home, characterized by white walls, is located in the city of Seattle, Washington, USA. The smooth home designed for a young and innovative circle of relatives. Manufactured from concrete forms, steel and glass, this contemporary home is an ode to glossy paperwork and easy surfaces. One outstanding element of the house is the abundance of natural light.
That is obvious inside the lobby, that’s a hall of floor-to-ceiling windows decorated by means of a striking natural wood staircase with clean glass railings. The kitchen additionally employs horizontal home windows below the shelves and uses skylights to maximize natural light over the island and eating table. A frosted display separates the toilet from the bedroom to create privateers whilst permitting natural light to float between the two areas. Extra light is added into the master bedroom via a window within the walk-in shower.
