Apartment Renovation on Via dei Pellegrini by CMT Architetti
This is an internal redevelopment project of a unit in the historic center of Siena.
The apartment overlooks Piazza San Giovanni (the square of the baptistery of the Duomo) and establishes a very suggestive relationship with the public space, in which external views become real backdrops of the internal space. The project was, by express indication of the client, very respectful of the original environments, leaving the vaulted and frescoes rooms completely free without any further subdivision. The result is a truly unique space in which contemporary materials and furnishings have been inserted in full respect of the original structure.
